Join us Thursday, August 25th as we celebrate the 2016 Ford Arts, Beats & Eats with a Charity Preview event to benefit 5 of Metro Detroit's top charities. The details are outlined below, we hope to see you on the 25th!
Arts du Jour is the official charity preview event of Ford Arts, Beats & Eats. The event will take place in Downtown Royal Oak on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The purpose of Arts du Jour is to raise money and awareness for local charities, while giving attendees a special preview of the 2016 Ford Arts, Beats & Eats Festival.
The event will feature live music performances from bands performing at Ford Arts, Beats & Eats, art exhibits from festival artists, as well as more than 35 restaurants serving tastes, including many from the Labor Day weekend festival. The event benefits five local non-profits by donating 75% of each ticket sold to the charity of the purchasers’ choice.
This year’s event will take place outside the Royal Oak Library on Barbara A. Hallmann Memorial Plaza, just across Troy Street from the Royal Oak Farmers Market. The suggested attire is "Summer Chic."
